Anamorphic?: Yes
PAL or NTSC?: PAL
Soundtracks:
Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1
Japanese Dolby Digital 2.0 (stereo according to the menu)
English Audio Descriptive Dolby Digital 2.0 (don’t know if stereo or surround, guessing stereo as on the Blu-Ray)
Subtitles: English (for non-English portions), English HoH (optional)*
Cuts: No cuts (172:19 PAL)
Commentaries:
Extras:
Disc 1:
None
Disc 2:
"Down the Road: The Making of Drive My Car" documentary (127:11)
2022 BAFTA Q&A with director Ryusuke Hamaguchi (28:44)
In the case:
20-page booklet containing cast and crew credits and a long interview with director Ryusuke Hamaguchi (the packaging incorrectly describes the interview as an essay)
Notes:
*For the film, the DVD menu gives the option to turn English HoH subtitles on or off. When chosen, English HoH will be used instead of English. The menu does not give the option to turn subtitles off altogether, but it is possible to do this using a remote control.
The documentary is in Japanese with optional English subtitles.
The Q&A is in English/translated Japanese with optional English HoH subtitles (the interviewer asks questions in English, a translator translates to Japanese, Hamaguchi answers in Japanese which is then translated. The English HoH subtitles are only shown for the English parts).
For the two extras, the DVD menu does not offer any options regarding subtitles, but again they can be controlled from a remote control.

Should this DVD and the Blu-Ray (http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=60293) have the title in Japanese as an AKA?

The Japanese title is "Drive My Car" which is the same as English so there's no need.

Added it. Thank you.

I did wonder if this was the case. wikipedia does have a Japanese title but I thought it seemed suspiciously like the English one so I didn't suggest it. I knew you'd know!

Is "Disc One", "Disc Two" etc the preferred format over "Disc 1", Disc 2", etc? I'll try to remember for the future.

You mean “Doraibu Mai Kā”, which we could add. Nothing wrong with it, but I didnt think it was necessary since it’s bascially how it’s pronounced.

And yes, we prefer DISC ONE, DISC TWO
