Re: Green Lantern blu-ray scandinavia FAO Asmund
so tell me how i can access the japanese menu. Yes i have been reading you post
1. There is NO jap. lang in the menu
2. There is no jap. lang with the players
So i have nothing to do with luck. Please tell me extactly how i can access the japanese subs since this is a very important issue. Again. Yes i have been reading you post. I am sure many readers here care alot and it is on top list to know. I understand it is an important issue for Nordic users her to know if there is jap.subs or not. For the japanese speaking users in Scandinavia.
Maybe one solution if i random push all puttons and lets up hope i can get the important jap.subtitles?

For your player, go to setting, go to “Disc Menu” languages and set it to Japanese 日本語. If you do this Japanese should be visible. If it still shows English menus only, then the Scandinavian disc is different from others and Japanese is locked out.

Here, you say there is no Spanish audio, but one of your BDinfo screenshots have Spanish as an audio option. Please check your disc again to make sure.Åsmund_Utvik wrote:Soundtracks:English DTS-HD Master 5.1 (Extended and Theatrical), German Dolby Digital 5.1 (Theatrical), French Dolby Digital 5.1 (Theatrical), Italian Dolby Digital 5.1 (Theatrical), Chinese Dolby Digital 5.1 (i have no clue which chinese, It only say chinese all in the movie, BDinfo and so and i AM NOT an expert in chinese variants) (Theatrical)
Subtitles (are they optional?y):Theatrical: Chinese Simplified, Danish, Dutch, English HoH, Finnish, French, French HoH, German, German HoH, Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Italian HoH, Norwegian, Spanish Castellano, Spanish lating, Swedish
For the subtitles, you have Spanish Castellano, Spanish lating (← I assume "Latin"), so you are saying the "Spanish Castellano" subtitles are locked out from the theatrical cut and only Latin subtitles are available? Please check again.

Re: Green Lantern blu-ray scandinavia FAO Asmund
On the Japanese Blu-ray (and other European ones), for the Extended Cut, there is Spanish (Castilian) subtitles, for the theatrical Cut, there is Spanish (Castilian) Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish (Castilian) subtitles for the English audio, and a Spanish (Castilian) subtitle track for text and signs for the Spanish dub version.
You're saying on the Scandinavian release, Extended Cut there is Spanish (Castilian) subtitles, for the theatrical cut, there is no Spanish audio, with Spanish (Castilian) and Spanish (Latin) subtitles? In the menu, it actually says "Castellano" and "Espanol Latino" ?

also i have asked a lady from Peru. She is saying it is spanish from latin america. I showed here several samples. She is saying. Def. latin spanis subtitles
So now is the jap problem over and now the spanish problem over. More issues? So if all subtitles crises is over and defined lets move on the a closure soon. So we can wrap this up

With written Spanish there are only minor differences with specific grammar and some words being different. "Potato" is "patata" is Spain, "papa" for Latin America, for example. Just like English, if you show an American person "Is this sentence American English?", you need specific examples of words or grammar that is specific to American/British English.Åsmund_Utvik wrote:also i have asked a lady from Peru. Did you have your Peruvian friend listen to the Spanish audio track? Listening to Spanish is the easiest way to discern between Castilian and Latin because of different accents.
What happened with the Japanese menus? Are they locked out or are they accessible?Åsmund_Utvik wrote:So now is the jap problem over

After changing your Blu-ray player settings to Japanese menus, nothing happened with the disc?Åsmund_Utvik wrote:What happened with the Japanese menus? Are they locked out or are they accessible? There is NO jap.menu
For the subtitles or for the audio? The accents were Latin American Spanish speaking?Åsmund_Utvik wrote:Yes my bud have lady from peru. She is saying it is spanish latin.

Can you change to other languages? Norwegian, German, Spanish for the disc menu? If you do, do the menu languages change or stay in English only?
