so tell me how i can access the japanese menu. Yes i have been reading you post

1. There is NO jap. lang in the menu
2. There is no jap. lang with the players

So i have nothing to do with luck. Please tell me extactly how i can access the japanese subs since this is a very important issue. Again. Yes i have been reading you post. I am sure many readers here care alot and it is on top list to know. I understand it is an important issue for Nordic users her to know if there is jap.subs or not. For the japanese speaking users in Scandinavia.

Maybe one solution if i random push all puttons and lets up hope i can get the important jap.subtitles?

For your player, go to setting, go to “Disc Menu” languages and set it to Japanese 日本語. If you do this Japanese should be visible. If it still shows English menus only, then the Scandinavian disc is different from others and Japanese is locked out.

Subtitles (are they optional?y):Theatrical: Chinese Simplified, Danish, Dutch, English HoH, Finnish, French, French HoH, German, German HoH, Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Italian HoH, Norwegian, Spanish Castellano, Spanish lating, Swedish
Here, you say there is no Spanish audio, but one of your BDinfo screenshots have Spanish as an audio option. Please check your disc again to make sure.
For the subtitles, you have Spanish Castellano, Spanish lating (← I assume "Latin"), so you are saying the "Spanish Castellano" subtitles are locked out from the theatrical cut and only Latin subtitles are available? Please check again.

On the Japanese Blu-ray (and other European ones), for the Extended Cut, there is Spanish (Castilian) subtitles, for the theatrical Cut, there is Spanish (Castilian) Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish (Castilian) subtitles for the English audio, and a Spanish (Castilian) subtitle track for text and signs for the Spanish dub version.

You're saying on the Scandinavian release, Extended Cut there is Spanish (Castilian) subtitles, for the theatrical cut, there is no Spanish audio, with Spanish (Castilian) and Spanish (Latin) subtitles? In the menu, it actually says "Castellano" and "Espanol Latino" ?

With written Spanish there are only minor differences with specific grammar and some words being different. "Potato" is "patata" is Spain, "papa" for Latin America, for example. Just like English, if you show an American person "Is this sentence American English?", you need specific examples of words or grammar that is specific to American/British English.

Did you have your Peruvian friend listen to the Spanish audio track? Listening to Spanish is the easiest way to discern between Castilian and Latin because of different accents.

After changing your Blu-ray player settings to Japanese menus, nothing happened with the disc?

For the subtitles or for the audio? The accents were Latin American Spanish speaking?

Can you change to other languages? Norwegian, German, Spanish for the disc menu? If you do, do the menu languages change or stay in English only?
