This is described as a 16x9 anamorphic transfer. In fact, whilst it is indeed 16x9 anamorphic, it is a cropped (top and bottom), upscaled version of an already cropped (left & right) Pan & Scan telecine. Thus it is heavily cropped on all four sides. The transfer is what can only be described as appalling.
