Website issues

Post by Brent_Reid »

I couldn't find a completely appropriate place to post this, so feel free to move or (eventually) delete it.

I've been noticing for some time that the DVDCompare site is regularly running very slowly, often timing out, and frequently crashes altogether. Has anyone else experienced this. Have you been having site or server issues?

For the record, I usually access the site via my home or work PCs, both of which have hardwired broadband connections, or on a tablet elsewhere in the house, with optimum wi-fi signal.

Yes. Apparently, according to our host eUK, this is an issue with the shared server which they have been trying to fix. I'm looking at upgrading to the next package to sort the problem, and change hosts if eUK do not solve this satisfactorily soon.

As I'm sure you're all aware, the issues have continued over the last month, but we seem to be making progress with our hosts now. We will still get some occasional down time but please be patient!
