I'd like to submit some updated information for L.A. Story (1991)
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=744
I just bought the original Artisan 1999 DVD and the newer Lionsgate 15th Anniversary DVD. It needs to be noted that the "1991 EPK" featurette on the 15th Anniversary DVD is edited. It is 40 seconds shorter than the unedited featurette on the Artisan DVD. The following was edited out:
- At 0:42, clip from "Roxanne" and short B-roll clip of Steve Martin and producer Daniel Melnick talking. (8 seconds)
- At 2:26, clip of Harris and Sandee having dinner and a short Sarah Jessica Parker interview clip. (32 seconds)
- At 5:07, replaces B-roll clip of Steve Martin & Sarah Jessica Parker with B-roll footage from a different scene. (6 seconds)
Also, the 15th Anniversary DVD adds caption text over the interview clips in the featurette.
This means that the Artisan DVD not only has the seven exclusive Easter Egg interview clips (sourced from the original electronic press kit), but also the unedited featurette. Something to note in the Overall section on the page.
