Title: Dr. Terror's House of Horrors
Country: France
Region: B
Releasing Studio: ESC Editions
Case Type: Mediabook
Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1
Codec: AVC MPEG-4
Picture: 1080p
Soundtracks: English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono, French DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono
Subtitles (optional): French
Cuts: 97:35
Commentaries: -
Extras (both in HD):
Présentation de la Amicus par Laurent Aknin (Film critic Laurent Aknin on Amicus) (French, no subtitles) (4:44)
Entretien avec Laurent Aknin (French, no subtitles) (A talk with film critic Laurent Aknin) (20:14)
Notes: French title: "Le train des épouvantes". 16-page booklet (non-removable). Sadly, the French release is from the faulty Pinewood Restoration: 1. In Christopher Lee's segment, his scream as he's being loaded into the ambulance is mixed very low; the correct version is loud and piercing. In the French dub the scream of Christopher Lee is as it should be. But not in the original English version as mentioned. 2. The musical sting when the god appears in the voodoo segment is missing altogether. This is also missing in the French dub. 3. The last scene of the film, as the devil walks along the platform, is truncated by around 30 seconds and the music ends abruptly, instead of a slow fade.
