Yes, identical audio/subs specs for all discs. The back cover specs are completely wrong, as often happens with Roadshow releases

Definitely no Japanese here unless it's hidden from my player and only accessible on a player that's set to default Japanese. I did however realize I made an error during my initial check-thru of the discs; the theatrical cuts have slightly different audio options than the extended cuts, but all 9 discs have the same subtitle options. I've just amended all three so they're now correct.

Okay, I set my player to Japanese menus and the theatrical discs have no Japanese options, it just changes the menu font to generic instead of the "middle earth" font. The extended discs do have Japanese audio and subs, and with this setting all the other options except English are no longer available.

I believe the Extended Version has a lossless Spanish audio track. The US release is lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1

Oh yeah, so it does. These have been doing my head in a bit, so many damn discs that all look the same Plus I've been doing the checking on my old Samsung player that doesn't actually specify how many channels each audio option has, so I've been having to look up blu-ray.com which seems to have some dodgy info still present.
