- In the Code Red version, the babysitter comes down the stairs, sits on the floor, then turns around suspiciously and proceeds to go outside. In the 88 version, the babysitter comes down the stairs, sits on the floor, starts to read a magazine, and then we see her being watched from outside the house again (as they show on Movie-Censorship), with the killer stepping on some leaves, which then prompts her to turn around suspiciously and go outside, syncing back up with Code Red. BUT Movie-Censorship also shows that "the kids get downstairs and start whining in front of Kathy but she sends them back to bed." That bit is not in 88 or Code Red's version. So 88 essentially restores about 35-50% of those 4 missing seconds.
(This scene is identical to the 88 blu-ray)

- In the house, everything is the same on both discs until you see the shadow of the killer coming up behind the kid and the close up of the dead girl. On Code Red's disc, the kid says "oh my god," and then it cuts back to the girl's body and then a close up of her face as we hear the kid get strangled. On 88's, after the shadow and then close up, we have the kid say "oh my god," but instead of cutting back to the body right away, the shot continues as the killer actually, slowly walks into frame behind the kid, walking towards him, and just as his hand touches his neck, it cuts back to the girl's body and then the close up of her face as we hear the kid get strangled. It does look like maybe M-C's tape has a couple extra frames at the end of that shot, because their still has the killer with his hands actually on the kid's neck, while on 88's he just gets to the point where his fingertips reach the neck. So I guess you could say that's maybe 90% restored. Code Red doesn't even have the killer walking into frame behind the kid at all.
(10 frames of this scene is still missing on the severin rls, less than half second)
