OVERALL: Draw
The 2-disc Special Collector's Edition releases have lengthy extras. Note the US release also includes the original Dolby Surround audio track. Also note the US release has the US version of the film while the others include the international version.
The "Legends of the Final Frontier Collection" releases have differing extras from the Special Collector's Edition releases, plus additional extras on the two bonus discs.
Two versions exist:
(1.) The original US version under the proper title (see the first title above) (119 minutes NTSC = 114 minutes PAL).
(2.) Outside the USA the title was reversed to "The Voyage Home: Star Trek IV" and a short prologue recapping II and III was added (122 minutes NTSC = 117 minutes PAL). -
