Note that all current DVDs seem to contain the action-oriented 'producer's cut' of the film.
Versions:
After the original cut of the film was screened at festivals, the producers recut the film against the filmmakers wishes, adding new action scenes. Because Val Kilmer refused to take part in these new scenes, in the producer's cut of the film they feature a double for Kilmer. -
