R1 America- Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment - Yes, the following cuts have been made: (85:59 NTSC)
- 16:50 : Anna Massey is about to receive a glass of David Massey's blood. In R1 we then get a censored still scene of the blood being drained from his neck, then switch back to a shot of Anna Massey taking a glass of blood coming from off-camera and making a toast and the story ends on her. In the uncut version, she receives the glass and makes a toast uninterrupted. We then switch to the scene with blood being drained from his neck with a beer keg tap and glasses of it handed-off, which ends the story (0:18 cut with 0:03 insert).
- 31:06 : Glynis Johns impales Terry Thomas in the head with a hammer. In the uncut version, he starts to fall back then the scene switches to Glynis Johns. In R1, the scene freezes on the impaled Terry Thomas, and we do not see him start to fall, before going back to Glynis Johns (0:02 cut).
- 31:42 : Our first shot of Terry Thomas' body parts in the preserving jars is truncated (0:04 cut).
- 31:55 : The second shot of the preserving jars is truncated (0:09 cut).
- 74:46 : John Witty's hands are chopped-off by the paper guillotine, we do not see his raised bloodied stumps (0:02 cut).
R1 also starts just over 0:02 earlier than R2, which accounts for the global 0:29 running time difference between R1 and R2 UK (86:28 after NTSC conversion) - R2 United Kingdom- Vipco - No cuts (83:00 PAL)
