OVERALL: Draw
The 2022 US/Canada CEs and UK includes the extras from the previous Scream Factory release, plus ports the older Universal DVD extras. Note that some extras on the UK, like the commentary are on the DVD disc though, not the Blu-ray. Also note, the 2022 US/Canada releases feature a 4K scan from the original camera negative.
Versions:
Earlier home video releases suffered 2 examples of music replacement (presumably due to rights issues)
1) During the dinner scene between Irena, Paul, & Female (9:12-9:55): the song "Far Away Places" by Bing Crosby playing in the background was substituted for "Sunday Kind of Love" by Ella Fitzgerald
2) During the scene in which Ed Begley Jr sings "What's New, Pussycat?" (42:58-43:15): an alternate take was used where he sings "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
All Blu-ray editions restore the original music cues. -
CUTS:
