OVERALL: Draw
No clear winner here:
- The R2 UK 101 Films edition has 5.1 and mono soundtracks as well as some extras from the Scream Factory US Blu-ray that are no available on any of the other DVD editions, although those editions have commentaries not present on the 101 edition.
- The R2 UK Tartan/R0 US SE Somerville/R1 Canada Season's Grievings Editions all have Anamorphic remastered 1.78:1 transfers, English 5.1 soundtracks and each also offer some unique extras. Do note the UK release's transfer is an NTSC>PAL conversion while R0 US has the original Mono.
- The R1 Canadian CE has a Non-Anamorphic 1.66:1 transfer with additional Audio commentary and some other extras.
The choice is yours!
The 4:3-releases are open-matte (but boom mikes are visible).
