The BBFC's records indicate that in 1961 the film was passed with cuts and a running time of 97:38. It's unclear whether the currently-available DVDs present the BBFC-cut version of the film or not, but the running times of the DVDs seem to be commensurate with the version of the film cut by the BBFC in 1961. If you have any more information regarding this issue, please let us know via our forums. -
