NOTE:

GIANT came out in a special edition that was briefly released in Canada, and then withdrawn at the behest of George Stevens son. The entire film was encoded on one side of a disc, and 16:9 enhanced. This altered it slightly from its original 1:66 ratio, and the picture quality was also inferior to the later US version.
