OVERALL: Draw
The Arrow "Video Nasty Edition" 3-disc set for having everything a fan could want. It is missing some minor extras off the other releases but more than makes up for it in the sheer quantity of material and versions of the film.
Scorpion has censored audio but some exclusive extras.
Three versions of the film exist:
- theatrical cut (83 minutes);
- extended cut (92 minutes);
- TV cut (90 minutes) with alternate scenes but censored violence and relooped audio.
Do note that the audio for the extended cut utilized a track that softened much of the film's profanity with re-voicing. The differences are presented below (courtesy of Bryan O'Mara):
- "...and you stand there like a faggot" (3:33) and "I'm not a faggot" (3:35), along with "He's the faggot"(5:06) in which "faggot" is replaced by "nutcase"
- "She's a bitch" (19:45) is replaced by "she's trouble"
- "You're all bitches" (41:23) replaced by "You're all witches"
- "My ass is covered" (62:43) replaced by "I'm all covered"
- Broken & Dropped audio in scene where Donny buys new clothes (66:29-66:57)
- "Holy Shit!.... Hey you mother fucker!" (72:13) replaced by "Oh gee, what do you mean, what?!.....Hey You!"
- "Hey, you sick son of a bitch" (72:56) cut down to "Hey"
- "Oh, he's this real ass...hole" )76:04) cut down to "Oh, he's this real ass"
- "Jesus, what a place" (77:37) cut down to "Geez, a place"
- "Holy Christ" (84:11) removed completely -
