- When it comes to extras, all SE and R2 Japan UE releases are quite even. R1 SE has the additional Easter Egg ("Sonic Separator"), DVD-ROM Features and "ID4 Online" Trailer. All these releases include both "Theatrical Version" and the "Special Edition".
- R2 UK and R4 Australia DTS releases are missing the "Theatrical Version" and the second commentary track, but are offering a DTS soundtrack.
- R6 2-Disc Metalpak edition has both versions of the movie with full bitrate DTS-ES soundtracks but is very short on extras.
