Note on running time According to IMDB, the original theatrical runtime is 147 min. According to the BBFC, the movie was first submitted in 1970 with a runtime of 148:41, but this was an estimate calculated from the measured film length of 13381 feet. The first BBFC video submission was an "uncut 15" in 1987 at 133:34 PAL, equivalent to a movie runtime of 139:08. According to a Paramount representative who posted in the Home Theater Forum, "...this film hasn't had anything cut out of it - it is 139 minutes long and it always has been.".
