- R3 Korea UE has the best extras, including exclusive audio commentaries, shorts and goodies, but it has only a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack and most of the extras aren't English friendly.
- R1 CE America has many extras, all of which are English friendly, and a DTS-ES soundtrack, but it is non-progressive.
- R0 SE UK is missing the huge "Autobiography of 'Oldboy'" documentary found on the previous editions, but it is progressive, with a DTS-ES soundtrack and offers an exclusive interview.
