All three releases have differing versions of the film, with the Czech and German releases having differing exclusive extras.
Note that three versions of the film were filmed simultaneously, in Czech, French, and German languages, with some differing cast members for each version.
- Austrian Version
- Czech Version
- French Version
The Austrian and Czech versions were similar, with scenes of some supporting actors being replaced and some performers being dubbed.
The French version is also similar but replaces some of the main cast for French actors.
There are also two censored versions:
- German version
- US version
Due to German censorship, nudity was deleted, some of the story was changed, additional scenes were included, and the ending replaced with an alternate version.
The US version is based on the censored German version, with newly added songs by Denes Agay and Emery H. Helm with lyrics by Henry Gershwin and William Colligan. -
