GENERAL NOTES:
When Carlo Ponti picked up the film for Italian and international release in 1967, he insisted that changes be made to make the film more palatable for audiences including a prologue explaining the Nazi occupation of Bohemia and Moravia as well as a Nazi brothel sequence. These sequences only survive on an Italian VHS release. -
