OVERALL: Draw

Any release, EXCEPT R0 Brazil, for their better (anamorphic) transfer. The Brazilian release has a few exclusive extra-features and English 5.1 track, but the (non-anamorphic) transfer is lacking (follow the DVDBeaver link below).

Two versions have been released:

(1.) The director’s cut (107 minutes at 24fps).
(2.) The originally released MGM cut (91 minutes at 24fps). This was the version disowned by director Polanski.

There has been talk of a 148 minute edit, but if such a version ever existed it’s highly likely that it was a rough assembly edit or a workprint before being honed down to Polanski’s prefered version.
