The old R1 release was not only uncut, but also includes extras such as a commentary. However this release is fullscreen only.

The Anniversary Edition is also uncut and in Widescreen, however drops the extras from the previoius release for a new short featurette.

The Of Pirates and Pigs Collection release has a remastered transfer, but the sound has been slightly downgraded to 5.0.

Fans of this film might consdier both editions, otherwise the choice is yours as to what is more important.

• R2 Italy- Disney/Buena Vista Home Entertainment - No known cuts.
• R2 United Kingdom- Disney/Buena Vista Home Entertainment - Yes. Cuts of 0m 2s were required. After complaints about the cinema version, the BBFC removed all occurances of the word "bloody" to retain the U-certificate on video/DVD.
• R4 Australia- Disney/Buena Vista Home Entertainment - Not confirmed, but assumed to be cut as per UK due to identical specs.
