Between any the "25th Anniversary Editions". They has the best set of extras and additional "Theatrical Version" of the film. Do note, that the extensive "photo gallery" from the older R1 is not included (and not to be found from the other releases either) and that the R2 Holland also includes some cast and filmmakers biographies, but no musical highlights feature on disc two. Also note the extras on the disc 1 of the Dutch release are found on the disc 2 of the other AE releases, while the extras on disc 2 of the Dutch release are found of disc 1 of the other AE releases.

Note that Universal's remaster of the theatrical version from 2005 had an error in the picture. Right after the Triple Rock Church number, there’s a shot of the Bluesmobile driving at night while we hear “Soothe Me” on the car radio. The camera holds on the car and cuts inside to a close-up of the 8-track deck in the dashboard. In the theatrical version, there’s a premature cut to the 8-track, a cut back outside to the prior shot, and then a cut to the 8-track at the proper point in the soundtrack, though the soundtrack plays throughout unaffected. All DVDs, Blu-rays, and streaming editions from 2005 onward retain this error.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray from 2020 has corrected the error, though note the accompanying Blu-ray in the package is identical to the older disc.
