Between the R1 Polygram and MGM versions, as they contain both the "R-rated" AND "Unrated" versions of the film, or the anamorphic R2 MGM rerelease. Please bear in mind the R2 DVDs only contain the one version of the film.

VERSIONS
The film exists in two versions, the 'R' rated theatrical cut and the unrated cut.

The major additions to the unrated cut include:
* a more explicit version of the Forbes-Duchovny sex scene;
* a more graphic version of the bathroom murder. The 'R' rated edit cuts from the first appearance of the blade to outside the petrol station, whereas in the unrated cut Pitt stabs his victim repeatedly whilst laughing, and the murder is intercut with the events taking place on the forecourt of the petrol station;
* the use of different angles during the death-by-shotgun scene; and
* a shot of Early's first victim crawling away from the car, whilst Early watches from the bridge.
