Although framed in the 65mm aspect ratio of 2.20:1 and revealing more top and bottom information than the 2.35:1 35mm reduction prints, information is also cropped off the sides that is visible in 2.35:1 prints (as one would encounter with a film shot on anamorphic 35mm and blown-up to 70mm). It is not known whether the source of the transfer is 35mm or the 65mm original. -

OVERALL: Draw
The US release is English-friendly and has extras while the German release has the Spanish version with English subtitles and a few exclusive extras.
GENERAL NOTES:
The English export cut titled "Hell's Creatures" was prepared in Italy and features soundtrack cues from Bruno Nicolai's score for Eugenie... the Story of Her Journey Into Perversion rather than the original Ángel Arteaga score. The U.S. version dispensed with the first reel including the masked ball and the trio of protagonists visiting the Wolfstein castle, opening after an animated title sequence with Waldemar encountering the gypsies on his drive back from the castle (the material has been reinstated on Media Blasters' DVD). The film was shot in 3D 65mm and Independent-International attempted a 3D reissue with 65mm Spanish elements painstakingly conformed to the English version (not only in having to cut the first reel but having to synchronize the English track to the Spanish version since the export version has several editing variances from the Spanish version), but the reissue was unsuccessful due to the cheap acrylic 3D lenses the backers developed for the release.

This film is also known as:
- "The Mark of the Werewolf"
- "The Vampire of Dr. Dracula"
- "The Werewolf's Mark"

CUTS:
- R1 America- Shriek Show / Media Blasters - No cuts - "Hell's Creatures" export version (90:28 NTSC) with the animated prologue from the US version added as well as the first reel including the masquerade ball and introduction of the main characters that Independent-International removed from their cut of the film (the US theatrical version started with the gypsy couple running into the lead characters on the way back from the castle). The "Hell's Creatures" export title sequence is present in the disc's deleted scenes. Some scenes from the Spanish version are not included (they were never dubbed in English).
- R2 France- Artus Films - No cuts - Original Spanish version (90:33 PAL)
- R2 Germany- Subkultur Entertainment - No cuts - Original Spanish version (90:39 PAL)
