OVERALL: Draw
Between the Midnight Choir for the extra film and the US Raro for anamorphic transfer, albeit in the slightly over-matted ratio of 1.85:1 (original is 1.66:) and the extras. Both *seem* to be missing something but as yet no one seems to know.
The R0 French release *seems* to be uncut but isn't English friendly as does the R1 US Sinema Diable / Eclectic DVD release but that is a fuzzy PAL > NTSC conversion.
A comparison between R0 Eclectic, R0 France, R1 Incredibly Strange Filmworks and R2 Italy is available on DVD Freak. -
CUTS:
- R0 The Queen of Gothic Horror America- Midnight Choir - Yes - Seems to be missing something, maybe due to print damage (97:39 NTSC)
- R0 Collector's Edition France- Artus Films / Fravidis - No cuts (94:31 PAL)
- R1 America- Incredibly Strange Filmworks - Yes - Seems to be missing something (96:13 NTSC)
- R1 America- Raro - Yes - Seems to be missing something, maybe due to print damage (97:39 NTSC)
- R1 America- Sinema Diable / Eclectic DVD - No cuts (94:23 PAL > NTSC)
- R2 Italy- Raro Video - Yes - seems to be missing something, maybe due to print damage (93:41 PAL)
