L'Atalante (US Blu)
1934 French movie telling the story of a young married couple that goes off on a barge called L'Atalante. Often considered to be among the greatest French films ever made, this is funny and touching - 8/10

Mama (French Blu)
Good horror movie, the beginning is really great, but after a while, and as often with this kind of movie, it's not really scary anymore - 7/10

360 (UK Blu)
Also a good "short cuts" movie, with several stories mixed into each other ; really pleasing - 7/10

Cloud Atlas (French Blu)
Just brilliant, this is the kind of daring movie I love. For me, it's easily the best sci-fi movie of the 10s' so far, and maybe of this century - 9/10

Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning (Japanese Blu, friend's disc)
Funny japanimation movie issued from the "Tiger & Bunny" series: a world in which sponsored superheroes must compete to catch criminals, in order to get points for a TV show. Seems awkward, but this was entertaining - 7/10.

Cloud Atlas [UK Blu], very interesting indeed. Though many will consider it to be a mess.

Dark Shadows (French Blu)
Maybe not the best Tim Burton, but there's everything I love here - 7/10

New-York Ripper (US Blu)
Had never watched this one before, this is a good "sex and blood" giallo - 7/10
Also checked the status regarding the misplaced scene found on most DVD editions : this scene seems to have been removed, updated the comparison accordingly.
I guess the 15s scene that is said to be present on the UK edition and missing from the BU one is probably this one.
EDIT: Also added UK edition running time based on OFDB specs, the UK edition seems to be 1:18 longer than the US disc, maybe there's other additional material here...

Braquo: Season 3 (TV)
End of this season that was being broadcast on French TV, this is really a great show, becoming even better after a few years - 9/10

American History X (US Blu)
Hadn't watched this for a while, very good movie, but seems a bit outdated now IMO - 8/10

Watched it a few weeks ago, but I wish I didn't... a truly horrible film, a wasted time.
I love action movies, but it was so tedious, I simply unable to describe it. Everything was bad and I mean EVERYTHING.
It's one of the worst, dumbest and senseless action flicks ever created. If I rate this turd, it's -10/10, seriously! :)

Yes, usually ~2 years between each season of the series made by Canal+ (Mafiosa, Braquo, Engrenages...) !

Happiness Therapy (TV)
Good movie and great performance by all the actors - 8/10

We're The Millers (extended cut) - picked up the Blu-ray today for cheap as a blind buy. 6/10 - had some funny moments but have seen much funnier films. The outtakes were worth watching in the extras section though.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)
