Re: What did you watch today?
156 - Castle in the Sky (US Blu)
Great Miyazaki movie : Blu-ray visuals are wonderful. Too bad subtitles leave much to desire… 8/10.
157 - Dracula Untold (Broadcast)
Entertaining action movie based of the story of prince Vlad - 6/10.
158 - The Bling Ring (UK Blu)
Not really thrilling, but I liked the strange mood of this movie. But Sofia Coppola is now clearly on the descending slope… 6/10.
159 - In the Mood for Love (US Blu)
One of my favorite WKW movies (along with Grandmaster). Wonderful music and actors, unforgettable visuals - 9/10.
160 - Trafic (US Blu)
Not worth "Mon Oncle" or "Playtime", but a funny movie from Jacques Tati - 7/10.
161 - '71 (Broadcast)
I liked this suspense movie in which a youg brtish soldier gets lost in Belfast, in 71 - 7/10.
162 - Hannibal #3 (Broadcast)
Maybe the last season of this extraordinary show. First part is just breathless and second one revisits the story of the Red Dragon, with an epic conclusion - 9/10.
Series overall: 10/10.
163 - Fargo #1 (US Blu)
Many series are succesfully adapted from movies these days (Hannibal, Scream, upcoming Ash vs. Evil Dead hopefully…): Fargo is no exception, providing a complete new story in the atmosphere. Strong performance by Billy Bob Thornton - 8/10.
164 - Walking Dead (The) #5 (US Blu)
One of the Best seasons of the show. Relentless, violent, dark: this is all we could hope for - 9/10.

Re: What did you watch today?
165 - Paradise Lost (Broadcast)
This was really good : dark movie and great role for Benicio del Toro - 7/10.
166 - Inside Llewyn Davis (French Blu)
Some beautiful songs, not bad, but not really convinced - 6/10.
167 - Parade (US Blu)
Shooting of a circus show directed by Tati, a few spectacular sequences, but not really my cup of tea - 5/10.
168 - La Danza de la Realidad (French Blu)
I enjoyed this movie last year, but this second viewing is even more fascinating. A true masterpiece - 9/10.
169 - Atlantis (French Blu)
Not really fond of this, but beautiful pictures and music nonetheless - 6/10.
170 - Near Death Experience (Broadcast)
Story of an old man going "into the wild" and wondering about life… just boring - 3/10.
171 - Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (French Blu)
Enjoyable road movie with Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges - 7/10.
172 - Dheepan (Theater)
Story of refugees arriving in France and led to life in a notorious suburb... some interesting elements and good actors, but this is among the weakest films of Jacques Audiard. This won the golden palm at Cannes… go figure - 7/10.
173 - November Man (Broadcast)
Classic but effective action/spying movie - 6/10.
174 - The Fault in our Stars (Broadcast)
Even with some moments when things are a bit "too much", this was really moving. Great young actors - 8/10.
175 - Maps to the Stars (UK Blu)
Another disappointment from Cronenberg: this heavy and unsubtle caricature of Hollywood is barely saved by an extraordinary performance from Julianne Moore - 5/10.
176 - Duel (UK Blu)
I was really worried by the reframing, but this wasn't really an issue after all. 40 years later, this has still a lot to offer and compares quite well with other movies of this genre. One of the best TV movies ever made - 8/10.
177 - American Horror Story #3 (French Blu)
Still pleasant but clearly below the first two seasons - 6/10.
178 - Dégustation Maison (Short) (US Blu)
Short directed by Tati's daughter, dealing with customers of a tea house… nothing special - 5/10.
179 - Forza Bastia (Short) (US Blu)
Story of a football game between corsican and a dutch teams. Funny ! 6/10
