In http://dvdcompare.net/forums/phpbb3/vie ... 9&p=158885 , I wrote "I also tried Mediainfo, which explicity tells me if a track is DTS but doesn't distinguish Dolby from LPCM." I was using Deep End as my LPCM test. I have now found a DVD that really does have LPCM (http://dvdcompare.net/forums/phpbb3/vie ... =9&t=36557 ) and MediaInfo tells me that it is LPCM (1536 kbps). As MediaInfo did not tell me that Deep End was LPCM I am now doubting that it is. MediaInfo says it is AC-3 320 kbps, so I guess it’s Dolby 2.0 mono.

Re: Deep End DVD UPDATED
Perhaps a note is needed to say that there is incorrect info on the packaging:
Single-disc edition - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Deep-End-197 ... SwevlaHdiv
Dual-Format edition - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DEEP-END-UK- ... 7675.l2557
Thanks for pointing me to MediaInfo, looks like a useful tool!![:)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
