An edit will need to be made to The Second Season as one of the episodes on Disc 6 cut off before the end credits finished. I'm also unsure about some of the entries so I'll need to ask about those (for example, VEI (Visual Entertainment Inc.), I think they're a Canadian label). The aspect ratio could be either 1.33:1 or 1.37:1. The type of DVD case for every season except The Second Season is a DVD case similar to the ones used for the US DVD releases of Mannix (Hotel: The Second Season has a larger DVD case because there are more discs, seven in total). Regarding the sound, on my multi-region player I think (and I could very well be wrong) it was English Dolby Digital 2.0, based on the logo beside the speaker icon (on the box it says English Mono). Finally, the first season originally aired in the US during the 1983-84 season, and I believe the Movie of the Week pilot originally aired on US TV in 1982.

Unfortunately, I was not able to get the total running time for episode 2.23 "Resolutions", so the Play All total run time is blank for the disc that episode is on. Regarding how the episodes played, they all played at the speed Region 1 DVDs normally play for TV shows, with the exception of episode 4.19 (I wondered why it was something like 2 minutes shorter than the other episodes in the fourth season Region 1 set. The music and characters' voices seemed to be quicker, as if it was a Region 2 UK DVD set). I don't know about episode 2.23 (which played at Region 1 DVD speed), but all the other episodes ended with no 'blue colour scheme' CBS Television Distribution logo (which you normally get with CBS Home Entertainment/Paramount Home Entertainment releases), with the exception of episode 5.07.

The movie of the week pilot was feature-length, and there was a two-part story in the third season of Hotel. Now in the fourth season, there were two episodes linked by a character and that character's storyline (the first episode, episode 4.15 "Unfinished Business" ended with a 'To be continued' title card, so that is why I have put '(1)' and '(2)' beside that and episode 4.16 "Fatal Attraction"). Even though there wasn't a 'To be continued' title card at the end of episode 5.16 "Grand Designs", it and the following episode, 5.17 "Aftershocks" (the last two episodes of the fifth and final season) were linked by a character and that character's storyline, so that is why I have put a '(1)' and '(2)' beside those two episodes' titles.

Regarding the Play All option, which is on every disc, I tested out one of the discs, and found that my multi-region DVD player did not have the total running time for all the episodes on that disc (so I'm assuming that is the same for all discs in the complete collection Region 1 DVD set of Hotel). It started with the first episode on that disc and that episode's total run time. So I have added together the total run time for every episode on each disc and put the total run time for each disc beside 'Play All'.

Three episodes in the fifth season set have been mis-labelled and are in the wrong place on two of the four discs. Apparently this set has the same problem in the more recent slimline DVD release. I have typed out the episode titles in the order they are on the discs, to save confusion.

Episodes 5.01, 5.02 and 5.09 were mis-labelled. Episode 5.02 should have been on disc one of the Season 5 set, episode 5.09 should have been on disc three in the Season 5 set, and episode 5.01 should have been first on disc one in the Season 5 set.
