*This release is in the same series (The Hollywood Studio Collection) as the following:
- Bedlam http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=17630
- The Body Snatcher http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=10194
- The Leopard Man http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=30350
- Stranger on the Third Floor http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=19221
and perhaps others that I’m not aware of (certainly “Curse of the Cat People” but that’s not in the db)
In the comparisons, these four have Odeon Entertainment as the releasing studio. As far as I can see this is correct (I have found images of the Bedlam and Body Snatcher sleeves online and they have Odeon branding). Cat People does not have any Odeon branding, it has Screenbound branding. However, it is clearly in the same series as it uses the same template for the cover art. From Amazon it seems that the four Odeon releases were released in 2010-2012 but Cat People was released in 2014 (the packaging has 2014 as the copyright date and so does the Film Presentation extra so this seems to be correct). I am suspecting that The Hollywood Studio Collection started out as an Odeon series and in some way it passed to Screenbound at some point between 2012 and 2014. The Film Presentation extra is copyrighted to Odeon so the connection to the earlier series is there.
As there is no Odeon branding on Cat People, it would be confusing to say that the Releasing Studio is Odeon (the Amazon page B00HUOZK4A does say this). But I guess it would also be confusing to say Screenbound - The Hollywood Studio Collection because this might suggest there are two “Hollywood Studio Collections” (quite plausible as it's a pretty generic title). I don’t know the answer to that.
It took me a while to work all that out, hence the long essay

Odeon and Screenbound are the same company. It was around that time that they officially changed their name.
Added, thank you.

Ah right, I didn't know that although I suspected they might somehow be connected.James-Masaki_Ryan wrote:Odeon and Screenbound are the same company. It was around that time that they officially changed their name.
Most of the "Hollywood Studio Collection" seem to fetch quite good money on ebay, so it's a bit sad they mostly appear to be NTSC->PAL. Luckily I paid almost nothing for this one
