"The uncut French film version" - how long is this? Is it a different version of the film from the English version?

I don't quite understand the notes.
It seems like you are saying there is an additional uncut French version of the film - but you said it is not.
The older DVDs of "Barabbas" had the case where scenes that were not dubbed in a language (for television or a shortened version of the film), the scenes would revert to the English audio track with subtitles. This is a common practice with countless Japanese DVDs I have. Is this what you mean?

It's like you wrote: The parts that are not dubbed in French revert to English with forced French subtitles.
